Is there a problem with my Marantz a / V receiver?
My Marantz SR5005 A/V Receiver: No sound output. This problem arose suddenly while watching TV over DirecTV. No sound regardless of what device I select (DVR, Blue Ray Player, etc.) but the receiver switches everything correctly and the video section works fine.

As it implies, a reset would force the unit to revert back to factory defaults removing glitches and config errors but would include memories, presets and user preferences. Can a Marantz arc work on a Samsung TV?
With that, I was able to connect one HDMI from my Sony 4K’s ARC designated port, to the ARC designated output on the Samsung receiver.
